Welcome to my humble home. I’m honored that you have taken the time to pop in and have a look around.
Everything you will see and read on this website is centered on one key subject – customer service for the hospitality sector.
It is what I love. What I know about. What I am very good at.
And where I have spent most of my working life.
This website is all about sharing what I have learned over those many years, with anyone in hospitality, who may find it useful.
You may be a restaurant or bar owner who recognizes that customer service levels at your establishment, could be improved. You could be a hotel owner, or a GM who feels that your guest handling could benefit from some sharp-end experience.
Or you could be a front-line server who is simply looking to get better at what you do – and enjoy the financial rewards that will come from that.
Whatever your challenge, I can help you.
Someone much wiser than me, once said: “Customer is King”. In my humble opinion, no truer statement has ever been uttered.
Whatever business you are running, your customers are your lifeblood.
Look after them and they will spend money with you, again and again. And each one of them will tell 8 people, on average, how good you are.
Treat them poorly and they are unlikely to return. What’s more, they will tell 10 people, on average, how bad you are.
Those are serious numbers and you want them on your side, not against you.
(In fact, these figures, because of the power of social media, are vastly understated. Good and bad experiences can go viral very quickly).
I have seen, first hand, what great customer service can do. It can turn an average business into a roaring success.
It can also turn an average server into someone who can earn in excess of six figures every year.

“Over the last few years, my family and I have had the pleasure to watch and enjoy, as Eric Valdivieso, nightly deliver a dining experience that is truly enjoyable. From the moment that we are welcomed by Eric at the door, to sitting at the bar and enjoying the suggestions and company to an amazing dinner, it is always one of our favorite nights. And Eric graciously and seamlessly choreographs this entire experience, without breaking a sweat. Eric truly understands hospitality, and what makes a great restaurant so great.”
